OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY

This course surveys the key historical themes of the Old Testament books and their connection to the New Testament. An overview is given of the historical, regional, political, cultural, and religious background of the Old Testament. Completion of the course will give you a general understanding of the Old Testament structure.

Financial peace

In order to be in ministry and be able to do what God has called you to do, you must have control of your finances. Financial Peace lays an entire foundation for handling money. Intertestamental Period

This intertestamental course will cover a variety of topics related to the time between the Old and New Testaments, including the literature, history, and cultural context of the period. It will help you to understand the events of the Intertestamental Period and how they set the stage for the birth of Christ. It is often called the "400 Silent Years" because it was a span where no new prophets were raised, and God revealed nothing new to the Jewish people. This course will bring the Bible to a whole new understanding. 

communications

This course provides study and practice in communicating ideas completely in public speaking. This course will help students learn to use their words to become effective agents for change and Godly influence among peers and in society.

New Testament Survey

This course presents the context of each book of the New Testament and introduces historical, geographical, and cultural backgrounds. Careful attention is given to the teachings of Paul and his journeys to set the context and culture in which the New Testament was written.

Ministry Ethics

This course is a study of the personal and professional ethics required of church ministers, religious counselors, and other “ministerial professionals,” as well as the ethical decisions unique to these roles. Emphasis is given to the minister’s professional code of ethics, structure of practice, and personal character. This course will challenge, as well as encourage spiritual ethics beyond a secular view. You will learn how to deal with ethical decisions and dilemmas in the areas of morality, money, relationships, church positions, and more.
